Almand Estate Sales & Liquidation is a homegrown Gulf Coast business founded by Chris Almand, a Cantonment native with a background in accounting, business, and resale.
Chris grew up in a close-knit family surrounded by siblings, nieces, nephews, and the strong sense of community that comes with growing up in the area. He earned both his accounting degree and master’s degree from the University of West Florida before taking his career to New York City, where he worked as a corporate accountant.
Eventually, Chris returned home to Northwest Florida, where he built a successful eBay resale business and developed an even deeper appreciation for unique finds, valuable items, and the stories behind the things people collect and treasure.
After spending time working with another estate sale company, Chris discovered that estate sales brought together several things he genuinely enjoyed: finding treasures, helping people, and building relationships with customers. He especially enjoys meeting shoppers and getting to know the people who come through his sales.
Today, Chris brings that same down-to-earth, homegrown approach to Almand Estate Sales & Liquidation. He enjoys discovering the unexpected in people’s homes and helping families navigate the process of transitioning from a home and its belongings.
For Chris, estate sales aren’t simply about selling things. They’re about people, relationships, and finding the next home for things that still have value.
